Eric and I had joked around previously about how I don't like pretty much anything Victorian, particulalry the novels, stating that they needed more excitement - you know, ninjas or pirates or something (I'm paraphrasing the conversation to make this all sound like my idea). So Eric mentioned that while watching the show on PBS this weekend, he "kept thinking 'this would be the perfect time for Ninjas to show up- or maybe pirates.'" So I obliged both of our fantasies with this image. I thought that it turned out well.
Apropos of their sneakiness, pictures of ninjas were harder to come by than scantily clad women in pirate outfits. ^_^
